The brief
Sabin Consulting Engineers Ltd were appointed to undertake the services design to enable two Gallium Nitride reactors to be installed within the Department of Material Science at the University of Cambridge.
The reactors form part of the equipment used for the University’s cutting edge research into the next generation of nano-electronics.
The solution
The services strategy includes the provision of process cooling water and specialised ventilation to meet the needs of the equipment.
The electrical installation included the design of a phone voltage stabiliser to specifically match the requirements of the specialist equipment.
