The brief
Finsbury Park Picturehouse is a seven screen, state-of-the-art cinema within the City North development in London. Sabin Consulting Engineers Ltd were appointed to undertake the design the mechanical services for this unique development.
Much of the cinema is subterranean and therefore this project includes a comprehensive general and smoke extract system. The heating and cooling to the cinema makes use of renewable energy from the site’s district heating and cooling strategies.
In addition to Finsbury Park, Sabin Consulting Engineers have also undertaken the design for Picturehouse South Kensington, Picturehouse Chester and Picturehouse Ealing.
